New England Bombers Special Hockey writes..
We’ve teamed up with Koolway Sports to outfit our team with KoolKozy Legs & KoolMitts for our athletes with body temperature regulation difficulties and kiddos who cannot wear regular gloves while playing hockey. Our dream is to eventually get them for all of our athletes who are in sleds or chairs!
We are so thankful to Lori’s Voice for funding four KozyLegs and four sets of KoolMitts! As more funding becomes available we will continue to purchase more! This will ensure our athletes are comfortable on the ice and staying warm since they are not moving their legs and some athletes cannot tell us when they are too cold. These products are uniquely designed to fit the needs of our athletes and kids in wheelchairs. They zip all the way around so there is easy access to check the warmth of their legs, access harnessing of their legs underneath or gtube access at their belly. As you can see, Silas feels pretty happy that we have these for him and his team! He gives us full approval! When you come play with us you will have access to use our KoolKozy Legs and KoolMitts! And the best part, even without having finger isolation in the KoolMitts you can still hold a stick with the help of EazyHold! This is great for our athletes who keep their hands in tight fists like Silas does. We cannot wait to see these in action out on the ice!
